What a weekend!
Not that I was busy or anything, the exact opposite actually. My very loving and wonderful husband did all the work and running around that usually comes with the weekend, and I was quite relaxed. Not that I did nothing, but I did basically nothing.
We went and looked at a couple of rental houses on Saturday. It looks like we're getting closer to finding somewhere to live. We've been looking all over, and put in applications on three properties. Seaforth, Frenchs Forest and Narabeen. Funnily enough, the front-runner is Narabeen, and it's the furthest away from town. But it's right on Narrabeen Lake, and then 200m the other way is the beach. Cal is willing to do the commute for the change in lifestyle. I think that the Virgonas would understand what we're talking about. Hey Nat, he's even talking about having a surf in the morning before work, and wants Moon-Doggy to come up and teach him. Ha ha ha.
We were quite keen on a place in Greenwich, just nearby, but it was advertised with 2 car spaces, and it ends up that they are having trouble getting council approval for them, and we would have to park in the street.....not likely! But the placehad a magical view or The Bridge from the lounge, and we were imagining New Year fireworks...awesome....but just not meant to be.
So, within the next couple of days we should know where we're moving to.
Other than that, much of the same thing day-to-day. Ardyn has gone to Occasional Care a couple of times, and I think that I get more upset than her. She's a bit upset when I leave, and very clingy when I pick her up, but the in between if apparently fine. The paint on her today proved that to me.....
So nothing much to report.
Here are a couple of recent photos of the Princess.....
She's decided that she likes vacuuming, so who am I to deny her her fun? Put her to work as soon as possible I say. You can just imagine me sitting back having a chardy while this is going on! Ha!
She still loves the bath and water. Cheeky bugger!

There's a few of these photos of Cal and Ardyn having a cuddle. They are his favs at the mo'.

We bought her a stroller for her baby that she got for Christmas, and she loves walking her around, putting her to bed, giving her cuddles. She even straps her in to the stroller. It's all so grown up. Where has MY baby gone????

I had to get her a backpack to put all her stuff in for daycare. I was hoping to find a Hi-5 one (as she LOVES Hi-5), but couldn't find one. So I got this Dora one. I like that it doesn't have Dora on it. It's actually Dora's purple backpack with a face on the flap, a map in the pocket and star purse on the side. How cool!! Backpack backpack, backpack backpack. (For all those parents who have to watch Dora, you know what that was.) Again, where has my baby gone????
Well, that's about it for now. But I'm thinking that there has to be more. How canI go through life with nothing more than a couple of paragraphs and photos of my daughter to sum up a week of it??? There's got to be more. I'll think about it and be back later.
{hugs} to Jordan for tomorrow, prayers for Rani for every day that she is stuck in hospital and waiting for her new liver. Much love to both families.
Kisses,
Me xx
