Thanks

I just want to say thank you one and all for your lovely messages, and your emails. I'm fine, I just had a dhit night.

I was feeling down most of the day, and then my night just made it worse. Probably just PMT!

It's all good now.

So, what's been happening in your life???? Send me a link to your blog, and if I don't already read it, I will! Something else for me to do.

Well last night we actually went out for dinner!!! It was the fourth time that Cal and I had gone out together since Ardyn was born. Need I remind you that she's 20 months old? And the 3rd time we went out was only last month....we're so sad. But it's been hard, as we don't now anyone in Sydney who we could leave her with. And when you're in a strange town, and you don't know anyone, it's even hard to hire a complete stranger to look after your child. Even if they are a professional.

So having my parents living with us at the moment has been a real bonus. And mum is looking foreard to more babysitting duties. But as they don't live close enough for us to do the drop off-go out-pick up, mum and dad will probably come here and stay the night, and then we'll do what we did today. Which was great!

We headed up to the Newport Arms Hotel for a spot of much in the sun. It was a magical day today, and the beer garden and bistro were packed! People were in shorts, kids were running around in bare feet. I love the climate here. There is no way in Melbourne that you would let your kid run around in shorts and a t-shirt and nothing else in the middle of August!

Could all of our friend and family now move up here? Thanks, that would be ace.

What else??? Oh yeah, the wonderful Reggie on the Scrap Needs forum has decided that we would start a book club within our scrapping group - maybe she thinks that we need to expand our horizons??? The first book is "Night" by Elie Wiesel. Apparently it is a very real account of his life as a child in the Nazi camps in WW2, and won a Nobel Peace Prize in 1986. I bought the book today, and I'm really looking forward to reading it, and discussing it with the girls.

And it's CC2006 week! I have done NONE of my homework, and I also have to pack for a week in Mt Hotham, as we are goig straight there from Kiwiscraps! So I have a very busy couple of days in front of me, and then hopefully a very enjoyable 10 days after that.

So.....I can't see me updating this until after I get back. I hope that you all have an enjoyable couple of weeks.

ooo have fun wont you!!!

sounds like us, never going out, well part of the reason is that DH is never here and the other part is that it is so hard with a 20 month old!
