I can't believe some people!!!!

I just have to vent.

I just got a call from a Constable at the Dee Why Police Station.

I was at the Dee Why shops earlier, and saw a guy hit another car in the carpark, and then just park his car and go into the shops. He left a fair bit of damage, and deicded not to do anything about it. I actually watched him get out of his car, check the damage on his (minimal), and continue into the shops!! So I thought that I would do something about it. Bugger him!

I took his registration details, and left a note on the car that got hit. I included my name and number. I even did another lap of the carpark to make sure that I took the rego details correctly and had the right make of car. Lucky, because the guy who got hit took the note and his car to the the Cop Shop to report it, and they rang the guy who did the hitting. He denied it all, and was on his way into the police station to face the charges.............

The Constable rang me to take a statement of what happened, and a description of the guy. I guess if my description of him and what happened match, then he's done. Not only for hitting the car and leaving it, but for lying to the police. The Constable said that if my description matches, and the guy denies it black and blue, that I will need to go and give a formal statement. I'm happy to do so, as I am absolutely certain about what I saw, and these mongrels shouldn't get away with stuff like that.

Just my vent for the day. Which seems to be appropriate for the new title to my Blog. I decided that I needed a change. Something that suits me a bit more, and anyone who knows me well, knows now perfect this is.

Quick birthday update from yesterday.............I want to thank everyone for their phone calls and gifts. I pretty much had the phone glued to my ear all afternoon. I still have a list of people to call back. Everytime I was on the phone, someone called, so the message went to message bank. And then as I was retieving messages, more messages were left! And I would have to call them back..etc, etc. Busy busy. It's so nice to be loved. So thank you all.

Will post some photos of various stuff later. Off to have some lunch now.
