Strange night last night, strange day today

Last night Ardyn just wouldn't go to sleep for more than a few hours at a time. She'd wake up crying wanting dad to get her a drink, then wanting me to stay with her in her bed, then having wee'd the drink that she had earlier everywhere.....it was never ending. She was up thins morning with a snotty nose and a cough - no surprise.



Then today she was up, and down, and eating everything in sight, then eating nothing, then sleeping for hours.........it was so strange. Then early in the afternoon I went upstairs to have a shower, sat on the bed, and next thing you know it was 5:00pm and Cal was waking me up telling me he was going to the gym, and Ardyn was just waking up. And more weeing through PJs. She we've washed her sheets twice today, and into our third pair of PJs. Strange day.



Then the thunder and lightning started (nothing really wild, it was a distance away) but the noise scared Ardyn a bit. So we sat in the study punching retro flowers out of pink patterned paper scraps. Then we had a ball throwing them at and all over each other. Here are a couple of pics.



The plan is to create a layout of the photos and use the actaul flowers on it.


So off she went to bed at abotu 8:30, with a slight temerature and a dose of Dimetapp. We're hoping for a night of sleep tonight. I don't think that Cal will be too late, but after my 2 or 3 hours sleep this afternoon, I'm bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I wonder how long it will last?
