Mother's Day
I want to take a quick moment to wish my mum the happiest of Mother's Days. I know that I don't say it or show it often enough, but I love you very much, and am very appreciative for everything that you've done for me for the past 34 years. Your love and support through so much has made me the person that I am today. And you know, I see you as my friend, confidant and equal, not just my mother. You are all these, everything and more.
So, my morning is not much different to any other. Cal is away, and I'm afraid a 2-year-old isn't very aware of what the day is. That's okay though. I'm not too fussed. I still get to cuddle her, and play with her and enjoy this day with her just like any other. And how much fun will it be next year when there's two of them to have fun with and play with and love......can't wait!
We're off to have lunch today with my mum and dad, and then Cal will be home from Melbourne just after lunch with a visitor I beleive. It's all good. As long as I get to spent the day with the people I love, I dont care when they turn up or who they bring.
To all the mums and mums-to-be out there, have a very Happy Mother's Day. Love and hug your children, because without them there wouldn't be such a day. It's for them as much as you.
(As Ardyn would say) "Warm Hugs"
