July/August 08

July was a pretty quiet month. No travel for us (yay), but my friend Chris (and the boys) came to Sydney for the Magpies v Swans AFL match, and Chris hung around for an extra day to visit. I went to the game, and can honestly say that I don't remember much of it. I spent most of the time talking Dave's ear off (who me?!?!). Poor Bazza.

Cal flew to Melbourne for work and hung around to see the family at Riley's 3rd birthday.

Mother's group, movies, coffee catch-ups, kindy drop offs......same old, same old.
And pretty much the same for the first week of August. How boring are we?? Or are we just normal?

So here are some random photos from then.....

Then midway through August things started to happen. Miss Bailey took her first steps on the 15th, we flew to Melbourne to celebrate her 1st birthday with heaps of family and friends on the 17th. Then flew back to Sydney after 4 days to celebrate on the day with Gran and Pa. THEN 3 days later we were off to Mt Hotham for a ski holiday for a week. Busy busy.

First, Bailey's birthday. Only a couple...there are so many to choose from. These are from the morning of her actual birthday at home.

And a select few from Hotham. Ardyn took her first real ski lessons and LOVED it. I guess we'll be back next year.

And that took us to the end of August.
It's late, and I'm tired. I'll catch you up on the last couple of months tomorrow.

K xx

Look at your little snow bunnies Kirst, they are beautiful.

Well done to bailey on her first steps and birthday. She sure is a clever munchkin.
