There's a first for everything

I should be doing some cleaning, or cooking, or something, but I find myself sitting here glued to the US Election commentaries. For the first time in my life, I have taken an interest in the US election. I remember at previous elections I've been like "George Who?" But today I find myself saying out loud "GO OBAMA!!!"

I think that Yanks need a change, and I really think that Obama is the man to stir up change over there. We'll see. I hope that the short-sightedness of many can be put aside for the greater good.

This position is one that come with GREAT responsibility, and to be honest I don't think that McCain will last (health-wise). Given that, I REALLY don't think that that silly chick Palin is the right woman to run the most powerful country in the world. Do you? I also think that votes for McCain aren't really votes for McCain - they are votes against Obama.

Oh well, that's just one little Aussie's opinion. Take of it what you will. But I'm allowed my opinion.
