Promise
Well, I promised myself that I would make and entry today, and here I am making it.
Let's do a quick run down of the last 12 (or so) months.
1 December 04 - Beautiful daughter Ardyn Veronica Beth was born
7 December 04 - Find out that Cal's empoyer is moving us to Sydney
12 May 04 - Move to Sydney - lived in an apartmetn in Kirribilli for a month. It was directly across from the Opera House and Circular Quay, right on the waterfront. What a way to get used to Sydney!
7 June 04 - Move house to Lane Cove. We ahve a real house with a pool and ROOMS! We are so used to living in a relatively big house in Melbourne, and apparently by Sydney standards, this is quite big. Can't belive the rent though.
Months following - settling in, shopping, going back to Melbourne to visit, reffing backetball, finding online scrap communities to chat with, shopping, chatting, living
And we're up to now.
At the moment, our house in Melbourne is on the nmarket, and we are hoping that it sells. We can't afford to buy a place up here if if doesn't. But we are still looking at what's around. We're even throwing around the possibility of buying a crap-heap and knocking it down and building the house tha we want. It's going to take longer, but then we get exactly what we want. Buying established means that we will have to be flwxible, and possibly not get a feature that we want.
Ardyn is growing up fast!!! I can't believe how quickly it all goes. I want another baby. If we wait too much longer, they'll be about 3 years apart, and that's something that we both said that we didn't want. Our ideal would be just short of 2, but Cal has had some more changes at work, so we are holding off. I think that April/May will be 'go time'. So they'll end up just over 2 years apart.
Wow, I could keep writing. This is like a diary, and it is so easy to cleanse the soul.
I will ahve to pick a loose topic each time and write about it. That way I won't justy drag on with it. Next time I will talk about the online scrapping community tha I have become a part of. It's a big part of my life now.
