So excited

I've got a few things going on that have me excited. One I can't really mention coz not all my family know, and I don't want them reading it here prematurely (no I'm not pregnant!). I will get to that one in a week or so.

Of course I'm excited to be moving in a few weeks. It's always exciting, albeit a chore, to move.

I'm excited that Ardyn is settling into occasional car okay. She still cries when I leave (in fact today she clung to my leg for dear life), but she's settling down quicker, and not so clingy when I come back to get her. She's understanding that mummy does come back.

Lastly I am excited about this weekend. I'm off to the Blue Mountains with the lovely Miss Lisa for a girly scrappin' weekend. It's going to be nice to get away for a few days. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping that Lisa will get my creative juices flowing, and really get me through my hesitations about scrapping.

Speaking of scrapping, here's a couple of layouts that I did recently. I'm happy with the way they turned out. The one of my nephew (I Love your Face) wasn't coming together the way I wanted it to, but it turned out pretty well in the end. The one of dad in 1968 (jcb) is my favourite ever photo of him. I think that he looks spunky in a 'rebel without a cause' kind of way. He must have been a real chick magnet back then....I dunno, maybe he still is????




















I also created a little something for a certain scrapping friend, which I can't show just yet, as I'm giving it to her tomorrow. So I will share once I get home.

By the way, it's STILL raining! The pool is almost overflowing! And NSW is in Stage 3 water restrictions. What dufus decided to build the catchments where it doesn't rain?????
