Randomly.........................

Well another week has gone, and it's been eventful. It's COLD COLD COLD too. I feel like we never left Melbourne.

The Virgonas came and stayed for the Queen's Birthday long weekend, and I felt SO BAD that it rained for most of it. The poor kids were cooped up inside for most of it. It was such a shame, as we had so much planned for the weekend. The weather was disgraceful! If finally cleared on Sunday morning and we managed to get out to the zoo for a few hours (until we got rained on). Monday was glorious though. Typical, considering that htey were heading home that afternoon. We headed up to the Newport Arms for lunch and to let the kids run around in the fresh air.

I'm so glad that they came to visit, and I am so upset that the weather was crap! It was great to spend time with them.
So the next bunch of visitors are due in about a week. Can't wait to see them either!

Ardyn can't catch a break! She seems to be picking up every cough and sniffle that's going around (and passing them on to me). She has a terrible cough at the moment (which I think that she has passed on to Max and Sam - sorry Nat), an ear infection and a possible UTI. It's hard to get a sample to properly diagnose the UTI, but if she does have one, the antibiotics that she's on for the ear infrction will clear it up. Poor bub. But she's sleeping HEAPS better now that she's getting some antibiotics into her.

Saw the obstetrician on Tuesday, and bub is all good. Average size for a 31 week-old, head down, and kicking mummy like a trooper! I swear it's a boy. It's violent!!!!! I'm pretty sure that Ardyn wasn't this violent. And that's all that I want to say about Tuesday, as it was just one of those days when nothing went right, and I ended up in tears on the phone to Cal completely irrational and hormonal.......it was just crap!

We have begun to look for a house to buy up here. I guess that we have to assume that the owners won't sell this one, and make sure that we have somewhere to live. Who knows. We may end up here, we may end up elsewhere.

Plans for Canada are coming together. Can't wait! It's going to be awesome!

Tragedy struck this week when a very good friend of the De Forest family passed away unexpectedly. He will be sorely missed. I can still see his smile, hear his "G'day sweetheart" and feel his warm hug. Such a nice man. So quick. So sad. Cal will be doing a quickie trip down to Melbourne tomorrow for the funeral. Much love to Deb and family.

Lastly, in honour of Lisa's daggy music videos, I am going to join her. But I can't seem to think of one that's daggy enough. Please leave a comment with your favourite daggy song, and I'll see if I can find it.

And that's about it for now. Nothing exciting, just updating.
