It's a beautful day!

What a gorgeous day we are having! It's about 20 degrees and the sun is shining. Now this is what living in Australia is all about. It's the middle of winter, and we're having better weather than some parts of the world that are in the middle of summer.

It was the first day in a while that we have been able to head outside without chills, or the fear or getting rained on, or not being able to play on the play equipment because it's been wet.

Ardyn has decided that it's dress-up day too. So she's got on her usual jeans and jacket, but she is also decked out in a hot pink skirt (all foofed out with tulle) that her Nanny made for her, fairy wings, a fluffy halo, jewelled necklace and gumboots. Oh, and cheerleader pom poms (of course). All the right things for riding her bike and jumping on the tramp.
The wings and necklace came off for jumping, but went straight back on once finished. In fact, these photos were taken a couple of hours ago, and she still has on the skirt and wings.

The last couple of days we have been very domestic and baked something each day too. We have done Banana Cake, Jam Tarts (just like Fifi's), Chocolate Cake and today is Bacon, Corn and Cheese Muffins. I have just taken them out of the oven, and they smell divine!

So it's been a great day so far - let's hope that I haven't jinxed it. It kind of takes away from the fact that I didn't sleep much last night and that my back is killing me.

Lastly, I want to congratulate my mum who today steps into a bit of an unknown, but is something that really needed to be done. I know that she's nervous, but it's all for the best, and I love her for it. Well done lady!
I hope that you're all having a great one too!
K xx
Edited to add: I've had one of the muffins....................I am in HEAVEN!!!! I am so LOVING today!
