Whoa! It's November already!
How time flies.
Since my last post:
I went out to Penrith and spent some time with some scrapbooking gals at the Papercrafts Festival
We headed down to Bundalong to spend Melbourne Cup weekend with the 'crew'. As Victorians we still recognise all Victoria's public holidays (yeah, we're greedy), so we took advantage of the 'long weekend' and went waterskiing. Unfortunately it rained for a couple of days and the kids went a bit crazy, but on the good side, the country regions got a lot of rain for a couple of days.
Bailey has been growing and growing, and becoming her own little person. It's gorgeous to see.
Ardyn is looking forward to her birthday-day (as she calls it), to the point that we are crossing off days on the calendar until the day with a BIG RED CIRCLE around it.
I spent today at Kiwiscraps. That was great! Originally I wasn't going to go. When the dates and tutors were released back in April, nothing on offer really appealed to me. Since then, I have downloaded a couple of Big Picture classes and read a bt of Nic Howard's Blog, so I decided a couple of weeks ago to book into Nic's classes. I ended up doing one of Stacey Julian's as well, as was really happy that I did. And for the first time (EVER I think) I bought completed projects home!!!!! It was a fantastic was to refresh and rebalance myself. I feel more energised and ready to get into a new routine now.
We have decided on the tile that will go down in our family room (thank God). Now trying to find a tiler to even quote the job has been a bit of a hassle....hopefully we'll get a quote soon, it's reasonable, and they're available while we're away. The I'll be a very happy camper.
Next weekend I'm away with Lisa for our scrappy weekend. I'm SOOO looking forward to that. I have to put a couple of challenge packs together for us to do. Should be fun. I intend to finish all of my UFOs so that I can start fresh when I get back. I recently purchased a big Cropper Hopper photo storage box, so I have to go thrugh all of my old print photos and see what I actually have.
Plans for Canada are coming along nicely. Just the final touches going into place.
And that's about it. I'll DEFINITELY post some photos tomorrow.
K xx
